Abby Becerril

Abby Becerril

Founder, Teacher, Student Eternally

Abby Becerril – Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years now, this practice has enabled me to slowly see myself honestly and grow stronger, become less afraid and step into my own power both on my yoga mat and in my personal life as a human on this earth school. I began practicing yoga under my very first teacher Sagarika Ghose then completed my teacher training in 2013 as a student of The Dharma Connection under Donna Pagliarani since then I have been teaching at studios on Cape Cod regularly and have completed studies in Restorative Yoga with Muriel Pellizzi, Meditation Training from Namah Shivaya school under Tina Vaughn, Johnny Gillespie of Balanced Athlete, Medicine woman and Reiki Healer Mary Michel and my greatest teacher the limitless great source we are all from.

I will always continue to be a student and I’m constantly learning new things to apply in my own life and to share with my students in class. With breath, meditation and accessibility as the base I love to find new sequencing and use a variety of music, essential oils, and gentle hands on adjustments so that you will leave my class less bunched up, stronger, and quieter in mind, heart & ready to live your best moments here and now. Can’t wait to share with you.

I am known for my encouraging, non-judgmental teaching style. I focus on alignment for safe practice, creative sequencing, mindfulness, self-compassion, and not taking anything too seriously. In my yoga classes, we will explore ways to nourish our bodies and souls. I hope to inspire students to build both physical and mental flexibility. I love to be where there are people who sweat, breathe, laugh, and find the edge together. My goal is to motivate others of all ages and physical capabilities to enjoy health and wellness through the life-long practice of yoga. I bring experience, knowledge, and empathetic understanding to my classes with the intention of guiding each student toward his or her unique goals.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Cape Cod Yoga School. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers shared with me. I have trained in classical Hatha Yoga, encompassing Vinyasa flow with pranayama, power yoga, and most modern yoga styles. I am also a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America and hold current Red Cross CPR certification.

Genevieve Griffith

Genevieve Griffith

As a young person, in the 60s and 70s, I felt a strong need for connection. I was encouraged by a mentor to pursue the teachings of the Eastern philosophers. My teachers and inspirational guides include T.K.V. Desikachar Patthabi Jois and BKS Iyengar. I started to work with Hatha Yoga and meditation at a very young age. My approach is to integrate past and present to retain the heart of practice as we bring it forward to enrich our lives.

These days I am delighted to weave the wonderful stories of the Sages, the mythological Dieties and modern day Dharma into our classes. We explore the many approaches to meditation as well as classical Hatha Yoga and modern Vinyasa for a very interesting and transformative practice!

Whether it’s guiding a vinyasa, yin or a gentle yoga class, her goal is to help students find their own practice and enjoy all the benefits yoga brings.

Dianna Benson

Dianna Benson

Dianna Benson is a Reiki Master teacher in the Usui Ryoho tradition. I am also a Restorative yoga teacher along with teaching meditation. I have compassion and a true love for healing. My passion is to see people heal, evolve, transform and succeed.

I also encourage people to be empowered in their life and do things that bring that sense of peace, relaxation and self-love.

I believe that we can choose to experience and find happiness and peace in our lives no matter what maybe going on around us or what has happened to us in the past. We can’t control the world around us but we can make a choice and how we perceive, view and react.

When something completely unexpected happens that affects our health, heart, mind, or spirit its a call for us to stop what we are doing breathe, take a look at our lives.
